Walkability in The Musamus University Campus Area

As an embodiment of meso-scale architecture, Musamus University must continue to improve itself meet the needs growing activity actors in campus environment. Pedestrian are basis area that be reviewed this context. The movement still uses motorized vehicles which results spatial conflicts. This study aims determine walkability score and provide suggestions so it becomes stimulates walking. 6 urban attributes (variables) used according context connections destinations, pedestrian comfort, legible, accessible,safe zones. Data, analysis scoring showed a 1.4 (not met). Availability paths; connectivity continuity path; availability shelters, seats shade; disability facilities strollers; conflicts with other modes transportation; zones most influential parameters.
